Consider me the UK's watchdog.
Our story started nine years ago in December 1996 when my petParent, I, and a small team of dedicated pet lovers stopped everything to create PETsmiles : UK's first independent 'Pet Industry Directory'.
PETsmiles : UK's Pet Industry Directory was created to provide a place for every pet company we knew you pet lovers and petParents would need on a daily basis.
Nine years online, our aim remains to help inform all you curious pet lovers with good contacts to make choices of your own to become the greatest petParents.

In our "Search For" button at the top left of every Petsmiles page, you will find a drop-down list filled alphabetically with over 120 specialised pet Classification Titles to search, all packed full of pet companies you search and contact direct.

PETsmiles Classification Titles can be searched regionally or nationally pending Petsmiles Classification Title.
(i.e. 'Vets' is a regional search and 'Animal Art' is National. So for a regional, more local search you will also have to type your area into the fill in box.)

It took my petParent years of dreaming about me before she finally decided she was able to fit a dog in her life.
A year after I arrived, 'Lola' the smiling PETsmiles cat (pictured on my left) joined us.
'Lottie' the rescue Staffie is another member of ours - proving that you can rehome us pets as well as find us through top breeders.
Our latest member 'Lester' the baby Jack Russell joined us in mid December and is already creating havoc with the PETsmiles gang!'
