WHO WILL BE CROWNED THE UK JUNIOR HANDLER OF THE YEAR? November 2008 - The prestigious Junior Handler of the Year Final will take place at London’s leading dog event, Discover Dogs 2008, this weekend for the first time.
The final will bring together 14 of the best young dog handlers from around the UK, aged from 6 to 16, who must demonstrate their dog handling ability and rapport with not only their own, but an unfamiliar dog as well.

THE BRITISH HORSE SOCIETY URGES RIDERS TO VOTE TO SECURE NEW BRIDLEWAYS November 2007 - The British Horse Society is urging all horse riders to vote to secure kilometres of new bridleways in The People's £50 million Lottery Giveaway.

GROOMING MARVELLOUS November 2007 - The Young Kennel Club (YKC) will be holding its annual grooming competition at Discover Dogs, which takes place at Earls Court, London on 10th and 11th November 2007.
The contest will take place over both days of the event, and the winners on each day will qualify for the YKC Groomer of the Year final at Crufts 2008 at NEC, Birmingham. Read full story. |

YOUNG KENNEL CLUB HEELWORK TO MUSIC COMPETITION TO BE LAUNCHED IN 2008 October 2007 - A new and exciting Heelwork to Music competition is to be launched in 2008 for Young Kennel Club members.
