This is to let you know that annual Home Office stats showing the number of animals tested for research are due to be released on Monday 23rd July 07.
With a team of scientists who are experts in the field, the RSPCA will be extremely concerned and angry if the figures show another increase something they have done since the turn of this century.

Animals in medical experimentation has been grabbing more headlines in 2006 than any of us can remember. Grave desecration, threats of violence, and Tony Blair signing a pro-animal testing petition has managed to capture the nation’s attention.

The staff and dogs at Dogs Trust Newbury would like to offer their sincerest thanks to everyone who came along to our annual Open Day on 2 July.
We were especially pleased to see so many people come out despite it being such a hot day!
The event raised more than £2,600 which will help us to find more homes for stray and abandoned dogs across the UK. Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and we care for over 13,500 dogs every year in our network of 17 Rehoming Centres – including Dogs Trust Newbury – based in Hamstead Marshall.
